All events taking place at, or under the auspices of, the Law School can require substantial logistical considerations. However, there are many services at the Law School that are designed to streamline the process.
FOR FACULTY EVENTS, Brooke Krystosek, the Assistant Director of Special Events, is an excellent place to start. In many cases she can liaise with faculty or faculty assistants to ensure that an event is a success.
FOR STUDENT EVENTS, please contact Student Services. The Student Services Office liaises with students on a regular basis, and is responsible for the student event calendar. Student Event Calendar: studentevents@law.columbia.edu
FOR ROOM RESERVATIONS, please consult the Student Organization Handbook or visit Room Requests.
TO PUBLICIZE AN EVENT, please make sure it is posted to the Columbia Law School online calendar. A daily announcement of Law School events will be pulled from the calendar for promotion to the Law School community.
