ATTENTION 1Ls: Is there “Room for Improvement” in your classroom skills? Then come to the Academic Success lunch on Friday, February 15, at 12:10 p.m.!
You’ve made it through one semester, but you might not be sure whether you are getting the most out of your lectures. Could your case briefs be more effective? How best to take in-class notes? What to do with those notes once you take them? What does “synthesizing the course material” mean anyway? These are the types of questions we will be addressing on Friday and in our second session to be held on March 1.
But we also want to know what you think you need to “brush up” on or to get some pointers about. So, when you register, you’ll have the opportunity to submit a question that you’d like to have addressed or a topic that you’d like to have covered during the session. Please take advantage of this. It’s really important to us that we make these sessions useful for you, so please tell us what’s on your mind. And, remember, if you are confused about something, the great likelihood is that many of your colleagues are confused about it as well. To register click here. Lunch will be served.
