-- 01:00 PM EDT
Please join the Federalist Society for the first event in the Third Annual Madison Lecture Series on Judicial Engagement. Justice Brett Busby, of the Texas 14th Court of Appeals, will speak on how his experience clerking for the Supreme Court informs his role as an appellate judge.
After Justice Busby graduated from Columbia Law School, he went on to clerk for Justice White and Justice Stevens. After clerking, he entered private practice and taught at the University of Texas Law School. Justice Busby was appointed to the 14th Court of Appeals by Governor Rick Perry in June 2012 and was elected to a full term in November 2012. Box lunches will be served.
