To that end, the Center continuously seeks pro bono and research projects, internships and fellowships, and graduate job opportunities for Law School students and alums by developing relationships with a wide variety of nonprofits, governmental bodies, and private firms.

Find Law Student Pro Bono Assistance
Columbia is one of only a handful of law schools nationwide that require all students to undertake a minimum of 40 hours of pro bono work during law school. The mandatory pro bono program grew out of a student initiative and continues to be shaped by student interests and needs, as well as requests by public interest lawyers and organizations.
If your organization has a pro bono project in which our law students can participate, either by doing research, fieldwork, or even a semester-long internship, please submit the information to the Center's Pro Bono Coordinator, Adrienne FitzGerald, at afitzg1@law.columbia.edu or at 212.854.8360.
