In addition to books and other print materials, the Law Library provides access for its patrons to various types of subscription electronic resources. Types of resources include indexes and finding tools for law-related literature, databases of legal source materials from around the world, and subscriptions to electronic versions of journals.

Pegasus now offers you simpler access to our electronic resources.
Many subscription databases and e-journals -- linked from Pegasus or other lists on the law school website -- can be accessed both from within the Law School, or by using our proxy-server service. The proxy server relays access to these resources in order to allow off-site access for law-school affiliates. Please refer to the notes which accompany each link for information on exact conditions of access.
It is no longer necessary for you to provide a patron barcode or pin/password for proxied access. Instead, you can confirm your identity, when prompted, with your law school username and associated password (i.e. the same username and password used to access Lawnet and other law school services).
It should be noted that other databases for which access is provided via the Columbia University Libraries will prompt you for your uni and password, which may not be the same as your law school username.
